Soccer Coach

This post is a little late. Coach Settle and Coach Dunn were in charge of the UPWARD Soccer team this past spring. Lucas and Andrew had fun playing together on the Seagulls team.

Florida Vacation June 2009

We visited Grandma and Pop Pop in Florida after school let out for the summer. We had a fantastic time! We even left a day early because they were launching the shuttle that Saturday at 7:00am. We woke up at 3:45 and arrived at Titusville at 5:30am to watch it take off. As we were getting out of our car, another person informed us that it was canceled due to a fuel leak. So we stayed and watched the sunrise. We tried to catch the launch again that Wednesday but it was also canceled due to a fuel leak. Maybe one day we will get to see it. We also went to Sea World and the beach while we were in Florida. Most of all, we enjoyed being with Grandma and Pop Pop and eating some good home-cooked food.

Blizzard of 2009

The first decent snowfall in Lucas & Masons lifetime. We got 10" of snow and the kids (all of us) enjoyed playing in it.

Circus

We went to the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey circus last Saturday (Feb. 21st). They came to the Richmond Coliseum and we had a great time. Stacey and her family came down from Harrisonbug to go with us.

Sweaters From Great-Grandma

My Grandma (Lucas and Mason's Great-Grandma) knitted the boys sweaters. They wore them to church today and got lots of compliments. Thank you Grandma!!

Look! No Training Wheels!

Lucas learned how to ride his bike today without training wheels. After much practice, he finally understood how to do it. He is doing so well that he doesn't even need us to push him anymore. I am really proud of him.

Cooking With Mom

Lucas and Mason love to cook in the kitchen. They told me today that they would cook with me everyday. I'm looking forward to that. :-)
