Cooking With Mom

Lucas and Mason love to cook in the kitchen. They told me today that they would cook with me everyday. I'm looking forward to that. :-)

Basketball

Lucas is playing UPWARD basketball this winter. He had his first game yesterday and really enjoyed it! It's fun watching a group of 6 year olds trying to play basketball. They still don't understand all the rules so it was comical. Kids were taking the ball and running around with it instead of dribbling. At one point, we had three kids from the same team fighting over the ball. It was only their first game so I'm sure they will get better.

Mason's Christmas Performance

Mason had his very first Christmas performance tonight. He did a fabulous job of singing! We are very proud of him. He had a red nose during the Rudolph song. The concert itself was very comical. Imagine a bunch of 3 and 4 year old kids performing.

JMU Beats Villanova

We went to the JMU/Villanova game on December 6, 2008. My sister-in-law made this happen by getting us tickets. It was a very cold game to sit through. Celia was home with the six kids while we attended the game. Go Dukes! Go Celia!

Halloween

Lucas was the Incredible Hulk and Mason was Spiderman. We went to Harrisonbug for the weekend. We went to tirck-or-treating with their cousins (Vaughan & Healy) and some friends (Jodi & Abby). The following day was JMU Homecoming. We had a blast but I didn't take any pictures. Maybe next year!

Mason's 4th Birthday

We went to Red Robin for Mason's 4th birthday (Oct. 27th). He was grinning ear to ear when the restaurant staff sang to him. After dinner, we opened gifts. As you can see, he likes pirates. The first thing Mason said when he woke up on his birthday was "I can go on the red slide now". There is a red slide at daycare that only 4 and up can play on. He continued to talk about the red slide for weeks.

Corn Maze

Today we spent the afternoon with the Dunn family at a local corn maze. It was a perfect, beautiful fall day. The quote of the day was from Lucas. After we parked he said, "Mommy, this is just a bunch of dead corn". We finished the maze with ease and everyone had a great time.
